Fight Over Gay Bishop in New Hampshire Earns Popular Media Attention

In world Anglican Communion, which includes the Episcopalian Church here in the U. S., the issue of homosexual clergy has long been a point of contention, but in recent months much of the discussion has coalesced around Bishop Gene Robinson of New Hampshire.  The secular press is now beginning to take notice.

In a recent feature article in GQ Andrew Corsello tells the compelling story of Gene Robinson, including his childhood, marriage, and eventual reconcilation with this identity as a gay man. The article makes for compelling reading, and fleshes out the humanity of the man behind so much discussion and disagreement in the church.
